Our commitment

People reach a practice like this one under a wide range of circumstances, and a website that is difficult to use adds a barrier exactly where there should not be one. Accessibility is treated as part of the design system rather than as a cleanup task.

What has been built in

• visible focus indicators that are not obscured by the sticky header
• color contrast validated against WCAG 2.2 AA for every text and interface pairing in use
• form labels that persist outside placeholders, with clear, programmatically associated error messages
• a correct heading hierarchy and landmark structure on every page
• alternative text for informative imagery; decorative imagery hidden from assistive technology
• reduced-motion preferences honoured — no animation is required to understand any page
• touch targets sized for comfortable use on mobile
• layouts tested at 200% zoom and across mobile, tablet, and desktop breakpoints

Known limitations

The secure client portal is operated by a third-party electronic health record vendor and is not covered by this statement. Questions about its accessibility can be raised with the practice.
