Eating Disorder Therapy in Orange County

Specialized, individualized outpatient psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, delivered by telehealth where care can lawfully and clinically be provided.

What eating-disorder therapy is

Eating disorders are complex mental-health conditions that can affect thoughts, behaviors, health, relationships, and daily functioning. They are not a matter of willpower or preference, and they rarely resolve by being ignored.

Zehn provides outpatient psychotherapy for presentations including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED, disordered eating, body-image concerns, and relapse-prevention needs — where outpatient telehealth is clinically appropriate and the work falls within the clinician’s competence.

Treatment is individualized and may incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-informed approaches when clinically appropriate.

Is outpatient care right for you?

An honest answer, early.

Outpatient telehealth is not appropriate for every person at every point in treatment. Fit is assessed during the consultation and initial assessment, and continues to be reassessed throughout care.

Zehn is not a crisis service and does not provide medical monitoring, nutrition services, or IOP, PHP, or residential care.

Also available

Support beyond individual therapy.

Teens & adolescents

Developmentally attuned care, with parents involved deliberately.

Parents & families

Parent-only consultations and family support when clinically appropriate.

For professionals

Referral information for clinicians, programs, and treatment teams.

Reconnect with yourself beyond the eating disorder.

A complimentary 15-minute consultation is a place to ask questions and find out whether this practice is a reasonable fit.

Zehn is telehealth-first. At the start of every session the clinician confirms your full name and your present physical location. California licensure does not authorize care when a client is physically located in another jurisdiction, and outpatient telehealth must also remain clinically appropriate for your presentation — both are reassessed each session rather than assumed.
