Making a referral
How to refer, and what is useful.
Use the contact form to make an initial referral. Helpful at that stage: the reason for referral, the level of care the person is coming from, whether a treatment team is already in place, and how best to reach the person or their caregiver.
Please do not send protected health information through the website form. Once contact is established, clinical information can be exchanged securely and under a valid release of information.
Outpatient therapy is not appropriate for every person at every stage of an eating disorder. The clinician may recommend additional medical or nutritional support, or a higher level of care, when that is what the situation calls for. Referral options are offered without any guarantee of availability.
